Still works pretty well after more than 3 years |

We have owned this glider for over three years. It still works pretty well. One side of the arm rest is a little wobbly and it creaks a bit, but since we use fans for white noise it doesn't affect our kids when rocking them. It was easy to assemble and still looks very nice. The stain and fabric have not faded, although we do not keep it in direct sunlight. We like it enough that we purchased a similar model from Shermag and overall recommend the brand. |

Poor quality. Didn't last a year. |
I do like glide rockers, and purchased this one as a replacement for an older rocker that had started to show its wear. This rocker didn't survive a year. The back separated from the arm after about 6 months, and other joints started breaking a few months later.
I suppose if you were purchasing this rocker just as decoration, or if you only plan to use it occasionally and for a short time, then it might be acceptable. But I recommend against buying it as furniture for everyday use. Based on my personal experience, I would not expect it to hold up. |

A splendid Glider |

My wife loves this chair when she has to put our son to sleep. She just sits and glides away until he's fast asleep. It has a very soft material and the wood frame is very well built. It has a lock handle on the side if you don't want to glide. The ottoman glides too!! I didn't have any problems putting it together. It does very well for a small woman. My wife is about 5'-2" and 100 lbs. But her mom sat in it (and it didn't break). Mom is a lot largr than my wife! It's made in Malaysia but well built. |

well, first the product and the finish looks very rich. I am a week shy of completing my 8th month, and I put this thing together all by myself, no sweat...it juz took me 20mins...infact, I didnt even use the instrctn manual except for putting the armrest 2gether...the cushions are soft and velvetty. Ottoman came assembelled...the rocking is smooth too...so far no complaints...if any i'll edit this review :o) |

This item shipped quick, I put it together with no problems, and its comfortable. However, when with I or my wife sit in the chair and want to rock, our butts push down on the locking mechanism through the seat pad and springs which lock the chair from rocking. Its very annoying. |
