Very nice intro to laptops for little ones, annoying for adults! |
|
Nice toy to get little ones introduced to laptops. Our son absolutely loves this toy. The only con is that the sounds keep going for a good 3-5 minutes after the toy is no longer in use. The sounds get irritating after some time, so we have learned to turn it off each time our son stops playing with it. Overall a nice product, and would recommend. |

Great for younger learners |
My son got this as a gift. I would highly recommend this for a younger learner - like 1 1/2 or 2 or a child who isn't as advanced in coordination. My son got this laptop when he was 2 (which was a year and a 1/2 ago). By 2 1/2 he knew uppercase letters by sight. At 3 he could work on the mazes and had them mastered. This laptop held up to him carrying it around, dropping it and pounding. So it's definitely a sturdy toy, except if you spill something sticky on it like my tea w/ sugar in it. :( The mouse no longer works, so he couldn't do the maze and that was his favorite.
I debated as to whether I should purchase another one, but then saw the price and because of that I opted to go for something more advanced. If your child is more advanced or older, go for the Vtech Tote 'n Go laptop. We got that for him after he spilled my tea on it and it is definitely something that he will work into and much more advanced (he doesn't have the patience for it right now). But we did buy the Vtech for our nephew when he was just under 3 and because he is more advanced and a very patient kid, he loved it and does great w/ it.
I am very glad we had this one first and would do it that way again. |

My 2 year old learned the alphabet with this toy! |
|
My 2 year old son grabbed this toy in a department store and plopped himself down in the aisle playing with it...he is mesmerized by it! Although it was rated age 3+, we bought it for him anyway. Within 2 weeks my 2 year old learned the alphabet and how to spell his name! This is an amazing toy that is well made and should be rated age 2+ not 3+. Best toy we've ever purchased. |

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this toy - she can manage it without frustration and there are higher levels so that she can continue to be challenged as she matures. also the toy arrived in a very timely fashion.
