For the price not sure you can beat it. |
At $14 not sure you can do better. I really like the metal gates that open and close by foot, but again $14 vs $60-$80... I will do a little more work. No assembly or batteries needed and works great right out of the box. If you are looking for the best economical solution - Can't beat it. |

Not for areas where you have baseboards |
If you have baseboards where you want to mount this gate, don't get it. For that matter don't get any gate where you cant adjust the pressure mounts if putting it somewhere where you have a baseboard which sticks out thicker than the wall, you need adjustable pressure mounts or it won't work. If you are mounting in a door frame or somewhere where the walls are flush it should work just fine for the price. |

Good gate |
This gate does its job for the price. It is not the best quality gate out there, but it works. We have it in our doorwary leading to the garage. We like that it is low enough for us adults and older kids to step over. |

Works just fine. |
We didn't buy this for style, we bought it for function, and it does its job well. We got it specifically to keep our puppy confined in the kitchen during the daytime so that she has space to play. It's plenty tall for a doxie baby and even with me leaning on it several times, it fits securely in the doorway. The gate itself feels very non-invasive, and it was a great buy for the price. |

good game for a bad dog |
I made the mistake of sending my fiance to the store to buy a gate to keep the dogs out of the kichen and this is what he came home with. It is a game for our 8 year old 60 pound basset mix to get it open and get in. We have come home to a lot of messes since owning this gate. I think more now, than before we owned it. I am looking right now on Thechildspot for a gate that will hold him better, as I can't really put him in a staight jacket everyday. |
